After years of blogging and guest blogging on different platforms, I’ve decided to launch my own eponymous blog. And look – you’ve found it!
I first tried my hand at blogging during the 2008 Presidential election. As with every political contest, the airwaves, headlines, and live feeds were full of hyperbole, misdirection, and half truths. My blog was a personal exercise in trying to educate myself and think more critically about the important issues of the day.
Since then, I’ve blogged as a student, librarian, and teacher, and each experience has clearly demonstrated the power of personal reflection and inquiry written for a global audience. As such, I’ve launched this blog to serve as a place for me to document what I’m doing, thinking, and feeling, as well as connect with others throughout the interwebs.
I’ll be steering this ship in the direction of my interests and questions, but the big picture will be focused on education, design, and technology.
I’m excited to continue my personal learning journey at this new blog and I am really looking forward to connecting with you!
